David and Claire Frame of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their son, Daniel Frame, to Carolina Torres. Carolina is the daughter of Bernardo and Maria Cristina Torres of Bogota, Colombia.

The groom is a graduate of Albert Lea High School and North Dakota State University with a degree in science education. He is teaching in Wahpeton, N.D.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Bogota, Colombia, and Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is a Spanish teacher in Minneota.

A wedding is planned for May 31, 2014, at Itasca State Park in northern Minnesota near Park Rapids.
