ST. PAUL — There’s another player in the race for attorney general in Minnesota.

Former DFL state legislator Andy Dawkins said he will file for the office Tuesday and has the endorsement of the Green Party of Minnesota. Dawkins served as a state representative for 15 years. Dawkins said he’s running “for all Minnesotans who want a place to vote their discontent with politics as usual.”

Incumbent Lori Swanson has the endorsement of DFL convention delegates for a third term as attorney general.
