Central Freeborn Lutheran Church will have a soup and dessert supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church, 74427 245th St. in Albert Lea. Homemade wild rice, chili, potato, chicken noodle and gluten free vegetable soups along with bread and ice cream will be on the menu. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children between 6 and 12, and 5 and under are free. Proceeds will benefit the Freeborn County Historical Museum Library and Village debt reduction and the YMCA youth programs. Supplemental funds are being provided by Freeborn County Chapter 31190 and Albert Lea Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Bring nonperishable food items to support the local food shelves.
