ST. CLOUD — A St. Cloud man is awaiting extradition from Tennessee to face charges in connection to a fatal drug overdose.

Fifty-nine-year-old Marvin Davis is charged with third-degree murder and a third-degree controlled substance crime in Benton County. Authorities said he provided crack cocaine to 32-year-old Shiquita Clark before she died in September in Davis’ St. Cloud apartment.

Davis told investigators Clark “did not look good” after taking drugs. He said he and others in the apartment tried but failed to wake her.

Authorities said Davis didn’t call 911 until almost three hours after he knew Clark had died.

Davis waived extradition during a court hearing this week in Tennessee.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.
