Man injured after reported fight 

Albert Lea police received a report of a man who reportedly had a bottle cracked over his head and had cut his arm at 4:36 a.m. Tuesday at 640 Marshall St.

The man was transported to the hospital, but was not cooperative with police, according to the report.

Car damaged by fire

A vehicle was reported on fire at 7:22 a.m. Monday at 1613 Southview Lane.

 

Bus lands in ditch in icy conditions

An Albert Lea Bus Co. school bus ended up in the ditch Nov. 17 while traveling on an icy portion of Interstate 35.

No one was injured, and the bus was not carrying any children at the time of the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The bus was not damaged.

According to the State Patrol, the driver of the bus lost control after driving on the bridge over Freeborn County Road 91, went through the median and ended up in the ditch on the south side.

The bus number was not documented.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Broadway and East College Street.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office logs from Tuesday through this morning were unavailable as of press time.
