ALHS alum finds success on the tennis court

Carter Dahl, a 2014 graduate of Albert Lea High School and member of the Bethany Lutheran College men’s tennis team, was selected Tuesday as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Bethany, located in Mankato, is 3-7 on the season and is on a two-match winning streak. During the Vikings’ 6-3 win Saturday against Simpson Collge at Owatonna, Dahl posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles and an 8-4 win with Jacob Kubler at No. 2 doubles. Against Ripon College the same day at the same location, Dahl posted 6-2, 6-0 wins at No. 3 singles and an 8-1 win with Kubler at No. 2 doubles. — Provided
