Give it back!

Rep. Gunther and other Republican office holders are correct when they say “the surplus belongs to the people.”

We have been overcharged, plain and simple. If you take your car in for repairs and are asked to pay $1,000 dollars up front, they do the work and it only costs $650, you would get $350 dollars back. Minnesota Democrats raised our taxes too much and overcharged each of us $350. This is our money and we deserve to get it back. The DFL legislators will spend the $1.9 billion overcharge and, if Gov. Dayton gets his way, they will raise our taxes even more. We need to stand with our Republican legislators, like Rep. Gunther, and thank them for standing up for us. We also need to call Dayton and DFL legislators and tell them to give us our money back and don’t raise our taxes.
