Medicare information for new medicare enrollees will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. April 13  in the foundation board room in the lower level of Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

For those that are turning 65 and going on Medicare or just have questions, this is an opportunity to learn more.

Information to be covered includes hospital, doctor and drug options; traditional Medicare; supplements; advantage plans; Part D prescription coverage; preventative benefits; savings programs; and ways to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.

The program will be presented by a State Health Insurance Program counselor, Southeast MN Area Agency on Aging and Senior Resources of Freeborn County.
