MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Lynx have multiple events planned over the next two weeks as they gear up for their June 5 home opener against the Tulsa Shock.

Here are some of the highlights:

— On Friday, May 29, Monica Wright, Rebekkah Brunson, Amber Harris, Tricia Liston and Devereaux Peters will surprise a group of children from Wishes & More at the Minnesota Science Museum.

— On Monday, June 1, fans will be able to see the 2015 Lynx for a preseason game against the New York Liberty. Tip-off is 7 p.m. at Target Center.

— On Wednesday, June 3, Lynx players and coaches will wait on fans’ tables at The Loop in St. Louis Park. That night’s food and beverage sales will go to the Lynx FastBreak Foundation.
