Man arrested after chase

Albert Lea police arrested Weston William Zuehl, 32, after leading police on a chase at 2:25 a.m. today near the intersection of Sykes Street and Y.H. Hanson Ave. Zuehl is facing charges of  speeding, reckless driving, fifth-degree drug possession, second-degree driving while intoxicated, felony fleeing, fleeing on foot, stop sign violation and an ignition interlock violation.

 

Fire reported in semitrailer

A semitrailer engine fire was reported at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday at 2400 Consul St.

 

Items missing

Items were reported missing from an apartment at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday at 920 W. Front St.

Laundry was reported stolen at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at 309 Fenton Ave.

 

Boy reportedly hit on bus

Albert Lea police received a report of a boy who was reportedly hit twice while on a bus at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday. Rocks were also reportedly thrown at him after he exited the bus.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday at 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

Door damaged

Damage was reported to a door at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday at 614 Fountain St.
