Students get scholarships

The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners recently awarded five Freeborn County high school seniors with $500 scholarships. The scholarships were provided by Diamond Jo Casino and students were presented with an award during the regular board meeting on May 19.  County Administrator John Kluever said this was the 8th year of these awards and thanked Diamond Jo Casino with their partnership over the  years.
