This weekend will be the 10th annual Corey Goodnature Memorial Scholarship Golf Classic. This event raises money for the Corey Goodnature scholarships given out to graduating seniors.

It is in honor of Goodnature, who was a part of the Navy SEALs who came under intense fire in the mountains of Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. Goodnature was the flight lead pilot of the aircraft. They attempted to land and rescue stricken SEALs but during the landing the aircraft was hit and it crashed onto the mountainside. All 16 on board were instantly killed.
