Motorcyclist flees on foot after pursuit

Albert Lea police received a report of motorcycles not stopping at a stop sign at 6:38 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South Newton Avenue and East Fifth Street. After a police officer tried to stop a motorcycle, the motorcycle reportedly accelerated. The motorcycle reportedly ended up crashing and the driver fled on foot. No arrests have been made in connection with the case, Albert Lea police said Monday morning.

 

Vehicle reported gone through

Albert Lea police received a report at 8:54 a.m. Friday of a silver 2004 Oldsmobile Alero that was rummaged through at 508 Tower Place in Albert Lea Thursday night. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

Meth found

A small package found at 2400 Consul St. in Albert Lea reportedly tested positive for methamphetamine. The incident was reported at 7:44 a.m. Friday. The methamphetamine was placed in evidence and disposed of in a drug drop box.

 

Theft reported

A theft of a suitcase was reported at 10:16 a.m. Friday at 137 N. Broadway Ave. in Albert Lea.

 

Car reported broken into

A car was reportedly broken into at 6:33 p.m. Friday at 2014 Capital Lane in Albert Lea.

 

Phone reportedly hacked

A phone was reportedly hacked at 9:12 p.m. Friday at 2510 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea.
