A cellphone was reported taken at 9:12 a.m. Thursday at 919 E. 14th St. in Albert Lea.

 

1 arrested for giving false information, warrant

Police arrested Holly May Hatfield, 24, for giving false information to an officer and on a Mower County warrant at 4:51 a.m. today at 317 Court St. in Albert Lea.

 

Man arrested on local warrant

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office arrested Levi Troy Dahl, 20, on a local warrant for first-degree burglary at 2:47 p.m. Thursday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Man arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Jeremiah Michael Jean, 29, for fifth-degree drug possession, marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:46 a.m. Friday at 2214 E. Main St.

Car sideswipes another car

A vehicle reportedly sideswiped a car Thursday in the main parking lot of Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. The incident was reported at 8:27 p.m.

 

1 arrested for DWI

Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Melody Dawn Tallman-Wynia, 54, for second-degree driving while intoxicated and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation at 5:21 p.m. Thursday on Freeborn County Road 46, near the KOA Campground.

 

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox was reported damaged at 9:31 p.m. Thursday at 450 S.W. First Ave. in Glenville.

 

Fire reported in can

A fire was reported at 11:18 a.m. Thursday at 1609 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea. A female said someone put a cigarette in a can, and she believed the wood had caught on fire. The fire was put out. No damage was sustained.
