1 arrested for DWI

Deputies arrested La Ba, 26, for driving while intoxicated and Hla Myint Oo, 29, on an apprehension and detention order at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and East Clark Street. Oo was cited for open bottle violations. Ba was booked for third-degree driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated refusal and speeding.

 

Items reported stolen

A large bag of summer clothes was reported stolen from a garage at 9:24 p.m. Saturday at 515 Johnson St. in Hartland.

A wallet was reported stolen out of a cart at 8:33 a.m. Monday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The wallet was reportedly left in a cart over the weekend. Surveillance footage reportedly indicated that a white male took it out of the cart in the cart corral after the owner forgot it. Police were unable to identify the suspect. Loss was estimated at $50.

A package was reported stolen at 10:30 a.m. Monday at 202 S. Sixth Ave. The package reportedly had a $100 value and was stolen sometime between Wednesday and Monday.

Tools were reported stolen at 10:49 a.m. Monday at 129 Elizabeth Ave. The alleged victim said he was working on a house when someone broke in and took all of the tools.

Someone reported having $600 stolen from a locked drawer at 9:09 a.m. Monday at 226 E. Clark St.

 

2 arrested on court warrants

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Cesar Edwardo Rosas Hernandez, 40, on a court warrant at 1:35 p.m. Friday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Deputies arrested Derek Dean Hanson, 39, on a court warrant at 9:35 a.m. Friday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

Juvenile cited for damage

A juvenile was cited for criminal damage to property at 8:50 a.m. Monday at Albert Lea High School.

Albert Lea police arrested Ramon Paul DeBoer, 22, on a local warrant at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.
