VFW members, along with VFW Auxiliary members, will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Zumbro Lutheran Church at 624 Third Ave. SW.

First District Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander Curt Hermanson of Cannon Falls and First District Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary President Tammy Landon of Cannon Falls will preside over the meeting. Both meetings are expected to last until around noon and will be followed by lunch at Post Home in the lower level. At that time, winners of the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen will be honored and scholarships awarded.

Schools of instruction will include youth activities, legislation and Americanism at the VFW Auxiliary meeting.

All those chairpersons are unable to attend should mail their program report to the auxiliary district secretary prior to this meeting. All First District VFW Post and Auxiliaries are encouraged to be in attendance to receive information on all programs.
