A special thank you to all of the coaches and parents who have made an extra effort to submit photographs and write-ups to the Tribune in the absence of a full-time sports editor in the last month and a half.

We are in the middle of looking for the best candidate for the position so that our area youth can get the sports coverage they deserve. We hope to get that position filled as soon as possible.

In the interim, we appreciate your patience. We hope you will continue to submit photos of your children that we can publish in the newspaper.
