Glenville man injured in snowmobile crash

GLENVILLE — A 22-year-old man was injured Friday evening in a rollover snowmobile crash near Glenville.

Ryan Meincke of Glenville was reportedly traveling north on a trail west of Glenville and was ejected when he was going over a hill near the intersection of Freeborn County roads 18 and 5, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office. The crash took place shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Meincke reportedly suffered a head injury deemed not life-threatening and was reportedly bleeding.

He was transported by Gold Cross ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Weather was reportedly not a factor in the crash.

Meincke was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and alcohol was reportedly not a factor.

No one was reportedly with him at the time of the crash.
