Gas main struck

A gas main was reported hit accidentally at 10:58 a.m. Monday at 412 E. Sixth St. One house was temporarily evacuated.

 

Pills stolen

Two bottles of medication were reported stolen at 12:10 p.m. Monday at 915 Maplehill Drive. The pills, valued at $85, were reportedly taken between Saturday and Monday morning. No suspects were identified.

 

Human
waste dumped

A bag of human waste was reported dumped at 2:50 p.m. Monday at Albert Lea City Hall. The incident reportedly happened shortly before 10 a.m.

 

Meth
pipe found

A methamphetamine pipe was reported found in a bathroom at 3:49 p.m. Monday at 500 Frank Ave.

 

Damage to property reported

Markers were reported used to write all over walls at 7:50 a.m. Monday at 810 Happy Trails Lane. The incident has reportedly happened before. Damage reportedly came between Friday and Monday morning. No suspects were identified.

Spray-paint damage was reported at 5:53 p.m. Monday at Northbridge Mall. The damage was reportedly done by a couple of boys. No suspects were identified. Damage was estimated at $50.

 

1 arrested for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Joseph Alan Roberts, 24, for fifth-degree drug possession and trespassing at 5:35 p.m. Monday at the intersection of East Main Street and East William Street.

on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Olivia Rose Keesling, 22, on a Faribault County warrant at 9:55 a.m. Monday at 205 E. Lake St. in Emmons.

 

Playstation, other items missing

A Playstation 3 and dozens of videos, games and box controllers were reported missing at 12:58 p.m. Monday at 231 Concord St. in Emmons.

 

Theft by
fraud reported

A $6,000 fraudulent check was reported at 4:29 p.m. Monday at Northstar Powersports & Marine. A Polaris four-wheeler was reportedly purchased with the check. The case is still under investigation.
