Albert Lea police cited Arthur Allen Polzin, 49, for fifth-degree assault at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday at 1221 Madison Ave.

 

Attempted break-in reported

An attempted break-in was reported at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday at 230 S. Pearl St. Pry marks were reported on the front door of the apartment. The back door was reported kicked, but no entry was made. Extra patrol was requested.

 

1 arrested for probation violation

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jasmine Michael Newman-Evans, 20, on an apprehension and detention order at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at 408 S. Broadway.

 

Bag missing

A bag with $200 in cash was reported missing at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday at Country Inn & Suites, 2214 E. Main St.
