The April meeting of the South Central SCORE Chapter 710 will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Faribault Chamber of Commerce office at 530 Wilson Ave. NW in Faribault.

John Carlandar, from State Bank of Faribault, will be the workshop speaker. According to a press release, he will speak about the Carlandar family’s ownership of the bank through three generations. Calandar will also discuss how a lender views a SCORE client’s loan request and what it means to be an aggressive community bank.

All SCORE member volunteers are invited to attend. SCORE clients and interested individuals are also invited. No reservations are necessary.

SCORE is a nonprofit association supported by the United States Small Business Administration with the goal of providing no-cost, confidential mentoring by experienced volunteers to aspiring new business owners and to existing businesses.
