Albert Lea native Graham Christopherson is one of a small group of finance majors from St. Cloud State University who went to New York City, where they got an exclusive tour of the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street and the Nasdaq in Times Square.

St. Cloud State University alumnus Drew Sandholm led a group of finance majors on a tour of both the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq MarketSite. Professional trader Kenny Polcari toured the students through the Stock Exchange, where they watched the ringing of the closing bell. Minnesota native and pro trader Pete Najarian also invited them to watch a live broadcast of CNBC’s “Fast Money” at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.

The St. Cloud State University students are visiting New York for an investing conference in Manhattan, where they met another SCSU alumnus. St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank President James Bullard, who also graduated from St. Cloud State University, gave the keynote address at the conference.
