It is difficult to say how long before attorneys determine if there are appropriate criminal charges in the case. Investigators are categorizing the evidence before handing the case over to attorneys, a court official said.
There is no indication who would be charged in the fire.
The fire at Woodgrains Furniture in downtown Albert Lea last December caused smoke damage to the store and two neighboring businesses, but firefighters got the blaze under control before it spread or caused structural damage.
The Furniture Outlet and the Christian and Peterson law office, two businesses connected to Woodgrains Furniture, sustained minor smoke damage.
