Janice M. Hilliard, 61, Kasson

Funeral services for Janice M. Hilliard, age 61, of Kasson, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Dibble Funeral Home, Kasson. The Rev. Charlie Collins of Holy Family Catholic Church, Kasson, will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

She died Monday, April 126, 2004, at Rochester Health Care East where she had been a patient for one and half months.

Janice M. Koziolek was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Carlston Township, Freeborn County. Janice married James Farley Sr. of St. Paul in 1966. They were later divorced. She married Oscar Hilliard of Kasson in 1975. They were later divorced.

She grew up in Freeborn County, attended grade school in Wells, and graduated from Freeborn High School in 1960. She moved to Kasson after her second marriage. She was former Dodge County Sheriff's Department dispatcher, and did home day care and was a home health aide. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, and enjoyed reading and the Internet.

Survivors include a son, James (Robin) Farley of Newport News, Va.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Joe (Shirley) Kopecek of Pemberton, and Ted Koziolek of Rochester; and sister, Jean (Gordy) Kruger of Wells.
