Warren Froning, 81, Sheffield, Iowa

Warren Earl Froning, age 81, of 2071 Mallard Ave., Sheffield, Iowa, died Saturday, May 27, 2006. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Thornton, Iowa.
Surviving in addition to his wife Laura are two daughters, Jill Berg (James) and Jane Killpack (Bob) both of Albert Lea; a sister, Joyce Brouwer of Sheffield; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Warren was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Chapin, the son of Earl and Amber (Lumley) Froning. He married Laura Ellen Markwardt on June 1, 1946, in Chapin. Warren and his wife spent most of their lives farming in rural Sheffield/Chapin area, retiring in 1989.
The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with the arrangements.
