Editorial: Go to the Festival of Trees
Published Wednesday, November 29, 2006
One of the Spam Museum signs tells Interstate 90 motorists, “C’mon. It’s free.”
The same adage can be applied to the Festival of Trees at the Albert Lea Art Center this week.
It’s a neat exhibit. The trees have different decorative themes. You’d have to be a Scrooge to not appreciate at least one of the ornate tannenbaums. And bring the kids. Children love
Christmas trees, and the display will get grumpy adults in the holiday spirit.
Get over there. It’s free.
The display runs from noon to 4 p.m. until Friday, then on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
