Seventh-ranked Mabel-Canton downs G-E

GLENVILLE — The Glenville-Emmons volleyball team ran into a tough Mabel-Canton squad ranked seventh in Class A Thursday and lost 16-25, 9-25, 17-25.
The Wolverines played with M-C early on in the first two games but tough serving and too many passing mistakes cost the Wolverines.
Mabel-Canton recorded 15 aces in three games and improved to 9-0 in the Southeast Conference.
Karissa Olson led G-E with six kills while Jordyn VanRyswyk and Danielle Cooper each had three. April Kosuge recorded 13 digs and Molly Kral had 10 assists.
G-E is now 5-8 in conference action.
