Freeborn County Stampede barrel racing
The crowd at the inaugural Freeborn County Stampede enjoyed watching local cowgirls compete in the barrel racing Saturday during the Freeborn County Fair.
Check out photos of the cowgirls who competed Saturday at the first Freeborn County Stampede, an official Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo. They raced for the best time in the barrel racing event, and many were from local communities. Many were daughters of crowd members, too. Entry to the rodeo was free with admission to the Freeborn County Fair. Look for official results in the Monday edition of the Albert Lea Tribune. The photo gallery of barrel racers is on the right.
