Vehicle reported stolen

Bobby Lee Cross of 320th Street in Ellendale, called the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office on Monday to report that his 2008 Dodge Ram four-wheel drive truck had been taken sometime during the Thanksgiving weekend. The license plate listed for this vehicle is MN YAZ 1232.

School windows broken

Albert Lea police are investigating the breaking of several windows on two back doors at Hawthorne Elementary School which occurred some time over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Lost vehicle found

A John Deere four-wheeler was found at 6:47 a.m. Monday near the corner of County Road 1 and 900th Avenue south of London. According to the sheriff’s office report, the vehicle had evidently hit an embankment and been abandoned.

At 9:46 a.m. Monday the owner of this vehicle called the sheriff’s office and reported that it had been stolen. An investigation is continuing into this incident.
