Central Springs 63, Lake Mills 57

The Lake Mills boys’ basketball team got off to a slow start Tuesday against Central Springs in a 63-57 loss in Lake Mills, but made it interesting late.

The Bulldogs trailed 48-27 entering the fourth quarter, but scored 29 points in the final quarter to make it a close finish.

Lake Mills (0-1) got 22 points from Jim Adams and Chris Throne added 15 for the Bulldogs in the loss.

Lake Mills couldn’t keep with the rest of the Panthers lineup. Dakota Martin led Central Springs with 22 points and Adam Kramer added 16 while Jordan Westphal had 12.

Martin connected on five 3-pointers for his 22 points and Westphal had three from beyond the arc.

The Bulldogs travel to Northwood Thursday to face the Vikings.
