Granicrete names local installers

Granicrete Minnesota announce that Jarod Jacobsen has joined the rapidly growing team of national and international installers for the innovative new product, Granicrete. Jacobsen will be providing all of Granicrete’s overlayment system designed for home improvements in Austin and the surrounding areas.

He joins these other Granicrete installers in the area: Jeff Baumann, Jim Edson, Werner Zent, Del Kusel, Rachel Lawson, Chuck Rhiner, Jeremy Hendrickson and Freeborn Lumber Co.

The “affordable elegance” of Granicrete products includes:

Countertop resurfacing system: This 1/8-inch concrete overlay is designed to be applied directly over existing countertops to create the high end look of granite, marble and popular stone countertops. The cost-effective approach for countertops is instead of replacing them, simply resurface them. Countertops are seamless and low maintenance with endless color options. This eco-friendly product is installed in one to three days.

Flooring/shower resurfacing system: This overlay system is designed to turn old bathroom tile or any indoor/outdoor sub-floor or concrete surface into highly authentic tile or stone finishes including flagstone, slate, marble, or travertine. Resurfacing takes from one day to three days.

Granicrete will be featured on episode No. 6 of Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Albert Lea Sunday night and has been featured on other ABC “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” episodes, several programs of TLC’s “Flip this House,” including a “green” episode. It has also been on NBC’s No. 1-rated Sunday morning show for the East Coast, “Welcome Home,” and HGTV’s “Designed to Sell.” This product is the winner of the Most Innovative Product Award at the World Of Concrete tradeshow.
