Ice cream creation at Thunder game tonight

Albert Lea high school student Brendon Moise will have his “Minty Miracle” ice cream creation available Friday at the Albert Lea Thunder hockey game.

The Thunder play at 8:15 p.m. and the ice cream will be for sale for $1. With the purchase customers receive a code to vote for Moise’s creation in the Cold Stone Creamery National i-Mix Contest on www.imixamerica.com using the code.

Moise has advanced to the third and final round brackt. He is one of 20 students remaining in the contest and the only one from Minnesota. The winner will receive a $30,000 prize package.The contest ends Dec. 31.

Anytime is a great time for ice cream... especially if there's coffee to go with.
