Genealogical society to meet Monday

Published Saturday, July 12, 2008

The Freeborn County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be held in the lower level of the Freeborn County Historical Museum.

A short business meeting and refreshments will be held prior to the program. The program will be “sharing plat books.” FCGS members are asked to bring any plat books they have in their possession for researching their respective relatives, past and present. The plat books can be from any county or state. The group hopes to compile a bibliography that might be shared with others.

The public is invited. Please use the north entrance to the museum, located on the fairgrounds.
