Kendra Meyer, former Prior Lake standout and granddaughter of Curtis and Judy Nelson of Hartland, recently finished an outstanding basketball career at Minot State University.
As a senior, Meyer led her team to a 21-11 overall record and an amazing run at the NAIA II National Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.
Meyer was named to the NAIA II Second Team All-American teams as a senior and earned All-American honorable mention as a junior. She was named the Dakota Athletic Conference MVP and a first team All-Conference selection as a junior and senior.
Meyer also broke the school record for most career points with a 1,710 and most points in a season with 610.
Meyer will return to Minot State in the fall to finish her double major in Mathematics and Finance and serve as a student assistant coach for the Lady Beavers.
