Flu shots available at Express Care for 12 and older

Flu shots are at Albert Lea Medical Center’s Express Care for those 12 years of age and older.
The cost of the vaccine is $31. Flu shots are covered by most insurance. ALMC’s Express Care is located within Hy-Vee, 2708 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea.
According to the Center for Disease Control, October or November is the best time to get vaccinated, but you can still get vaccinated in December or later. Flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May.
