On Oct. 24, 30 students from Albert Lea High School in grades 10 through 12 attended the 13th annual Southern Minnesota Chicano-Latino Career Fair which was held at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The main mission of the fair was to encourage and motivate Chicano-Latino youths to pursue educational opportunities and increase their access to higher education. The students were provided an opportunity to meet Latino professionals in many career fields and talk with admission representatives from an array of colleges and universities in Minnesota, and surrounding states. Here the students, along with Principal Alan Root, gather.
