Cancer Society receives memorials

The Freeborn County Unit of the American Cancer Society has received memorial gifts in memory of Don Wedge, Robert (Bud) Nelsen, Merrill Meyers, Marlene Tautges, Ronald Rasmusson, James Nelson, Darryl (Nig) Lee, George Clark, Marianne Sahli, and Joyce Metcalfe.

Memorials and gifts to the American Cancer Society are used to support research and programs of education and service to cancer patients. ACS is the nationwide community based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. It aims to prevent cancer, save lives and diminish suffering through research, education, advocacy and service.

Memorial gifts/donations may be sent to Joy Christian, memorials chairwoman, 316 Burr Oak Drive, Albert Lea.
