Here are local and area highlights in history for Nov. 30, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1985 — One of Santa’s reindeer was in a pen outside the Fleet Farm Supply store on Main Court.
1975 — One of the Tribune’s columns for the Sunday editions had the title of “The Boy Himself” and was written by Jim Oliver, the Tribune’s editor.
1965 — Mrs. Arthur Kraske was the president of the Good Samaritan Center Auxiliary. Mrs. John Nelson was the vice president, Mrs. Herbie Moen was treasurer, and Mrs. Ed Paulson was secretary.
