Editorial: Thank you
Published Tuesday, October 7, 2008
The Tribune tonight invites members of the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce to attend Business After Hours.
We thank you for doing business with us, and — without giving away the evening’s plans — we set out to hold an impressive, over-the-top Business After Hours. This event looks like a good one. Don’t miss it.
The Tribune and the Chamber of Commerce ask guests to show up with nonperishable food items to donate to the Salvation Army. Capt. James Brickson will be on hand to accept donations.
There will be photos with Santa Claus, food and beverages, of course.
Be sure to bring business cards, too. The grand prize is sponsored by Fishers Fine Jewelers.
Business After Hours is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 1118 SE Broadway Ave. in Albert Lea.

You missed the Hayward Fire Department. I have noticed they were on location doing various jobs many times throughout the week.

I see they have Dras Cases listed twice and have missed the local JoAnn's Fabric Store for their large donation they gave to complete the new home.

Goodness that is quite a list I'm sure that it is possible that some places were accidentally overlooked. It was a human that created the list; humans make mistakes. But WOW! what an outpouring of help, materials. It makes me have a little more faith in human kind in general.
