Pro-life candidates have Bible morals

Published Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Over the course of this election we heard many political speeches and debates as the potential candidates square off. Within the context of the speeches you will hear different views on the economy, taxes, foreign policy, national defense, unemployment, welfare, nation healthcare, environment issues, and all kinds of political rhetoric.

So how do you go about selecting a candidate to cast your vote for?

Let me give you some key indicators of that candidate’s true character.

Abortion. Even if you are indifferent on the abortion issue, you should never vote for a pro-choice candidate. When a politician is pro-choice, it should tell you three things: First, that person doesn’t value life, and they will sacrifice human life to solve lesser problems — or for political gain. Second, they don’t acknowledge God’s absolute moral values; therefore, they are not trustworthy people. Third, their greed and selfish ambitions are so great that they are willing to condone and support what they know to be wrong in their hearts, for the sake of money and political gain. If a politician will shed innocent blood for money and political gain, what won’t they compromise?

Support of the homosexual marriages? A person that supports homosexual marriages is a person who has no value for the traditional family and can’t be counted on to support it. This candidate has rejected God’s absolute moral standards, and is disobedient to divine law for political and financial gain. If they can’t obey divine law, will they obey civil law?

Years ago there was no moral differences between the two parties. Now, the Republican Party is pro-life and pro-family and the Democratic Party is pro-abortion and for homosexual marriages, both call abominations in the Bible. Select the pro-life candidates. They will serve you, our state and our country the best.

Don-

The American gov't is not supposed to impose "divine law" on all the American people. That sounds an awful lot like what most Middle Eastern states impose upon their people, except in those cases, the "divine law" comes from Islam.

One of the huge reasons that our country is in the worst of times in it's history is the election of 2000/2004. The Republican party enticed the Evangelicals to vote for them on the basis of just what this writer is advocating. SINGLE ISSUE VOTING IS A DISASTOR AS IS VIVIDLY SHOWN BY THE PRESENT REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION. Vote for the candidate of your choice BUT make that choice on more than one issue. Please reject this vailed Republican add and look at the REAL issues in the election like the economy, Irag, health care etc. I am sure that Mr. Werner sent the same letter to all the SM papers. He is trying to get votes for a failed candidate and a failed administration like we have never seen before in this country. We need change -- big change in the way our government is run and by voting on just these single issues will only bring us more of the McSame.

It is estimated that 10,000 humans die each day from disease or starvation.

When humans learn to take care of one another after birth, maybe....maybe they their ethics and morals will allow them to empathize with the unborn.

Is it candidates who determine the morals of this country? I certainly hope not.

And when humans begin resisting the idea of sending our "precious blood" to kill and be killed in imperialistic wars, then they may in turn realize how precious life is.

It is convenient for the majority to hire a few to fight their wars. It is convenient for voters to hire politicians to send our children to war, relieving us of any personal responsibility. And it has become convenient for irrespondsible parents to destroy the unborn.

Americans are absolutely mesmerized with convience. They will kill and be killed to protect this 'inalienable right' of the New World Order.

Do pro-life candidates endorse Samuel 15 vs. 3 ?? Or do they cherry pick convenient verses, as you, to promote an agenda?

trifee, your last two comment have me confused, just a yes or no answer to this please. Are YOU for or against abortion? Just to make it easier for you to answer, I'm against it but I do have a couple of exceptions.

pehrhard, you seem to be very concerned about the abortion issue, among others. What I want to know is this, if you are so concerned about about abortion(correct me if I'm wrong), then why? when I was in your 10th grade world history class did you walk up and down the desk rows and take cigarette packs out of students shirt pockets? Were you afraid those students were going to die?

Have you changed?

Just wondering Paul.

Vote McCain & Palin!!!

People like you make me laugh.

There's more to life than living strictly by the Bible. Open your eyes and your mind once in a while; you'll be surprised at what you'll find.

e__bow, if your talking to me, thanks for the advice. Just keep studying in Germany. BTW, do they ever discuss Hitler over there? I know he liked killing little Jewish babies.

Vote McCain & Palin!!!

Virginian:

I oppose abortion. What irks me is the lame and contradictory reasons that others give for their opposition.
My conscious guides me, not verses or stacks of facts.

"I know he liked killing little Jewish babies"

Samuel 15 : 3

The Jewish God instructs Jews to slaughter infants. Bizzare?

What I said about Hitler has nothing to do with what you are talking about, I was responding to e__bow and her abortion comment.

Please re-read her comment and then mine.

Vote McCain & Palin!!!

Thank you Mr. Werner,

Finally some fresh air.

It's remarkable that all pro-abortionists have already been born? I know it sounds cliche, but really its quite selfish to kill innocent children when you have already been given life.

No tears from the protectors of life for the millions of children starving to death. But I guess they are not innocent enough. Bring them into the world. Then let them die and rot before they can utter the word 'hypocrits'.

i was actually speaking about the general article, not directly to you, virginia.

and don't think i overlooked your hitler comment. please don't go insulting a whole culture for something that happened a long time ago. very rude, and it is not the same.. not sure if you know a lot about germany's culture today.

Fascists disguising themselves as pro-life.

And no comments on the millions starving to death each year.

Absolute hypocracy!
