Brittany Schaefer and Joe Braund of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Jada Nicole Braund, at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, 2008, at Austin Medical Center. Jada weighed 8 pounds and was 18.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Jodi and John Attig of Glenville, Eric and Michele Schaefer of Northwood, Iowa, and Tammy Ashton of Manchester.

Great-grandparents are Judy Olson of Northwood, Iowa, Colette Schaefer of Leroy, Richard & Helen Schmidt of Osage, Iowa, Harry and Louise Attig of Glenville, Lola Mills of Apple Valley and Vern and Bonnie Braund of Walters.

Christopher and Abigail Parish of Belefontaine, Ohio, announce the birth of a son, Quinn Michael Parish, on Sept. 27, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Quinn weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

Grandparents are James and Rebekah Sousa of Albert Lea, Patrick and Laura Parish of Lakeview, Ohio, and Ralph and Patty Scott of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Great-grandparents are Joseph and Zinalda Sousa of Paris, Tenn., Cloyce and Dorothy Parish of Lakeview, Ohio, Lois Butler of Lakeview, Ohio, Mary Ann Jordon of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Barbara Forsyth of Alden.

Great-great-grandmother is Rosa Figueiredo of Stoughton, Mass.

David and Jenna Iowy of 2333 Margaretha Ave., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Jaycee Jennet Iowy, on Oct. 9, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Jaycee weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and joins siblings Courtney and Aiden.

Erik Seath and Vanessa Nelson of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Brooklyn Jean Seath, on Oct. 2, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Brooklyn weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and joins siblings Jayden and Gavin Seath.

Grandparents are Noel Nelson, Gala and Stuart Kubat, Mark and Linda Thorstenson and Rick Seath.

Great-grandparents are Carolyn Greet and Elsie and John Vanderstoep.

Luke and Katie Nielsen of 22948 790th Ave., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Lindsey Sue Nielsen, on Sept. 12, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Lindsey weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, was 20.5 inches long and joins a brother, Alex, 2 1/2.

Grandparents are Kathy and Gordy Toenges and John and Sue Nielsen.

Great-grandparents are Manville and Lauretta Toenges, Verl and Vera Wallin, Bob and Donna Nielsen and Agnes Waters.

Krystal Paulson and Dave Villarreal of Mankato announce the birth of a son, Treyton John Villarreal, on Oct. 3, 2008, in Mankato. Treyton weighed 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces.

Grandparents are Jeff and Lucy Paulson of Albert Lea and Dave Villarreal and Cheryl Villarreal, both of Albert Lea.

Great-grandparents are Juan and Jovita Villarreal, Karen Cummings and Phyllis Paulson of Albert Lea.

Don and Tina Schmidt of New Richland announce the birth of a son, Brendon Eugene Schmidt, on Sept. 15, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Brendon weighed 10 pounds, 2 ounces, and joins a sister, Tayler.

Grandparents are Joe and Gail Schmidt and Rande and Jamie Nelson.

Great-grandparents are Vi Gunsolus, Betty Schmidt, Orlen Schmidt and Ray and Bunny Jepson.

Great-great-grandmother is Edith Jackson.

Shane and Lisa Rovang of Rochester announce the birth of a daughter, Rae Anne, on Sept. 18, 2008, at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester. Rae Anne weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces, and joins a brother, Jack Gregory, 3.

Grandparents are Greg and Bonnie Stasik of Shoreview and Jack and Marilyn Rovang of Twin Lakes.

Great-grandparents are Margaret and Jack Dady of Columbia Heights, Corrine Rovang of Albert Lea and the late Alfred Rovang.

Chris and Jill Dickrell of Otsego announce the birth of  a daughter, Ashlyn Brooks, on Oct. 12, 2008, at North Memorial Hospital. Ashlyn weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Grandparents are Pat and Nancy Bergen of Albert Lea and Terry and Gail Dickrell of Cable, Wis.

Great-grandparents are Dorothy Vandersnick of Albert Lea and Gladys Dickrell of Ashland, Wis.

Nathan and Danya Olson of Kotzebue, Alaska, annonce the birth of a daughter, Aeroh Elizabeth, on Sept. 15, 2008. Aeroh weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Steven R. Olson and Linda Tuttle-Olson of Albert Lea, Peggy and Michael Allen and Sidney and Dianne Bitney of Kalispell, Mont.

Matthew Dulitz and Sarah Bute of 134 Washinton, Alden, announce the birth of a son, Jacob Mathew Dulitz, on Oct. 1, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Jacob weighed 10 pounds, 5 ounces, and joins a sister, Lily Dulitz.

Grandparents are Scott and Lisa Bute of Alden and Steve and Sharon Dulitz of Albert Lea.

Great-grandparents are Richard and Barbara Stenzel of Alden, Jim and Marge Bute of Alden and Marvin and MaryAnn Wilder of Albert Lea.

Dave and Amy Graceffa of Racine, Wis., announce the birth of twins, Madelyn Dee and Maxwell David, on Sept. 29, 2008. Madelyn weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and Maxwell weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. They join sisters Faith, 3, and Olivia, 1.

Grandparents are Roger Schultz of Albert Lea and the late Delores Schultz and Joe and Dorothy Graceffa of Racine, Wis.

Seri Johnson and Wesley Talamantes of Twin Lakes announce the birth of a daughter, Lariah Marie Talamantes, on Oct. 9, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Lariah weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Grandparents are Matt and Riki Johnson, Angie Johnson and Willie Talamantes.

Great-grandparents are Jon and Carol Johnson, Dave Elvebak, Rita and Jerry Johnson, Barb and Dave Deckard, Lupia and Job Talamantes and Howard and Sharon Johnson.
