Cory and Jennifer Parker of 806 Columbus Ave., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Anthony James Parker, at 2:37 a.m. on Sept. 19, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Anthony weighed 11 pounds, 11 ounces, and joins a sister, Sophia.

Grandparents are Ricky and Kellie Weitzel of Albert Lea and William and LeEllen of Reinbeck, Iowa.

Great-grandparents are Beverly Weitzel and Kathleen Perrino, both of Albert Lea, Darlene Frizzell of Oakland, Iowa, and Vivian Parker of Westville, Ind.

Amber Avery and Chad Gilbertson of 1309 Sheridan St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Allena Ashley Gilbertson, on Oct. 9, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Allena weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and joins siblings Gavin Bolinger, Rachael Petersen and Courtney Gilbertson.

Grandparents are Jayson and Paula Christenson, Jim and Vicki Sanvik, Heigeno and Grace Madrigal and the late Allen Gilbertson.

Great-grandparents are Shirley Avery, Alan and Nancy Avery and Dennis and Kathy Christenson.

Great-great-grandmother is Betty Avery.

Miranda Crawford and Cory Frerk announce the birth of a daughter, Karley Monroe Crawford, on Oct. 15, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Karley weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces.

Grandparents are Kim and Bryan Crawford and Emily and Todd Frerk.

Great-grandparents are Dale and Doris Erickson of Minneapolis and William Crawford of Waukee, Iowa.

Ashley Langerud and Adam Schneider of Altura, Iowa, announce the birth of a daughter, Brielle Linn Schneider, on Sept. 23, 2008. Brielle weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

Grandparents are Angie and Gary Langerud of Lewiston and Joe Schneider of Altura and the late Linda Schneider.

Great-grandparents are Ray and Joyce Langerud and Judy and Larry Olson, all of Albert Lea.

Great-great-grandparents are Harriet Broskoff and Warren and Verona Thorson, all of Albert Lea.

Lance and Carrie Bryan of Lakeville announce the birth of a son, Eian David Bryan, on Sept. 20, 2008, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Eian weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Ron and Linda Bryan of Albert Lea, Dave and Sheri Severson of Rochester and Craig and Judy Schulz of Faribault.

Great-grandparents are Larry Offenbecker and Jim and Selma Bryan of Albert Lea, George and Penny Estrem of Fergus Falls and Jean Le Maire of Fairmont.

Chris and Rachelle Gilbertson of Lakeville announce the birth of a daughter, Carlee Ann, on Oct. 1, 2008, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Caralee weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, was 20.5 inches long, and joins a brother, Mason.

Grandparents are Davis and Julie Gilbertson of Albert Lea and Brian and Debra Blowers of Austin.

Great-grandparents are Esther Gilbertson, Bob and Ilene Blowers and Gladys Bergland, all of Albert Lea, and Johanna Risdal of Roland, Iowa.

Kurtis and Rebecca Vanderploeg of 74043 180th St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Landon Kurtis Vanderploeg, on Oct. 17, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Landon weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Grandparents are Duane and Mary Jo Vanderploeg of Albert Lea and Terry and Diane Howard of Spring Valley.

Great-grandparents are Maxine Vanderploeg of Albert Lea, Joe and Dorothy Groeneweg of Geneva, Doris Holm of Grand Meadow and Bernard Howard of Spring Valley.
