Melanie Cibert and Junior Martinez of 1616 Front St., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Alexis Mae Martinez, on Aug. 2, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Alexis weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Rhonda and Tim Cibert and Yolanda and Aristeo Martinez Jr.

Great-grandparents are LaVonne and Tom Cibert, Don Roberts and the late Karen Roberts, Jovita and Juan Villarreal, and the late Aristeo and Manuela Martinez.

Daylynn and Alan Alm of 907 St. Jacob Ave., Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Sophie Lucille Alm, on Aug. 14, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Sophie weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and joins siblings Kira, Eric and D.J.

Grandparents are Betty and Ray Musel, Vicki and Lowell Steen and Robert Alm.

Great-grandparents are Ruth and Bill Nelson.

Christopher and Melissa Olson of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Alexis Diane Olson, on Aug. 16, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Alexis weighed 7 pounds, 12.5 ounces.

Grandparents are Julie Boeckmann, Lyle Shaunce and Mark and Paula Olson.

Great-grandparents are Inez Shaunce, Marjorie Hoy and Marie Engen.

Chad and Allison Muilenburg of 27877 Sunnyhill Place announce the birth of a daughter, Cloe Lynn Muilenburg, on Aug. 25, 2008, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Cloe weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

Grandparents are Scott and Joni Groth and Bob and Darlene Muilenburg.

Great-grandparents are Nancy and Eddie VerHey, Mary and Paul Groth, Alice Muilenburg and Valsta Johnson.
