Gov. Palin displays ‘cheerful viciousness’
Published Saturday, September 6, 2008
It was no surprise for those of us seasoned by the past 28 or so years of manipulative, deceitful and dishonest attacks by Republicans like Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin — to hear from her what Salon magazine columnist Glenn Greenwald describes as “(Palin) exploited raw cultural divides while mocking, belittling and demonizing Democratic leaders.”
What was different is that Gov. Palin’s “cheerful viciousness” was performed in front of her minor children. What an example. Mr. Greenwald reminds us that attacks like Gov. Palin’s “render issues irrelevant and convert campaigns into cultural wars and personality referenda … The Republicans are well aware that they can’t possibly win the election if it is even partially decided based on issues.” Thank you, Glenn Greenwald.

Yet another letter from Ted "we must respect diversity, except in thought" Hinnenkamp. I wonder if he even understands he does the same thing the Republicans that he whines about?

If the Republicans "can't possibly win the election" it will be because Obama has swooned the youth into thinking he's "cool". They are hyped on him just as they are for their favorite sport's teams. Obama advertises all over Facebook... figure that, a largely populated youth network. They don't want to vote for "the old guy".
Ted, if you want to quote liberal minded reporter Glenn Greenwald, then in all fairness, I will quote a conservative minded writer, Ann Coulter.
"Unfortunately, for the ordinary TV viewer hearing nonstop hysteria about nonspecific "problems," it takes a lot of effort to figure out that every attack liberals have launched against Palin turned out to be a lie.
It's as if a basketball player made the winning shot in the last three seconds of the game and liberals demand that we have a week-long discussion about whether the player should have taken that shot. WHAT IF HE MISSED?
With Palin, McCain didn't miss. "

"cheerful viciousness", Ted your getting carried way with your vocabulary. They don't call Sarah Palin the "Baracuda" for no good reason. It may be viciousness but it's a good viciousness. YOU have been reading to many FAR left stories. Take a break from them and relieve your mind. You will feel better.

Craze, your half right. I see Mary doing many positive things. Ted, who I don't know on a personal basis, comes off as just plain mean to anyone who does not see the world his way. For a guy that preaches tolerance he is sure intolerant.

Yes,yes. Bickering and fighting among the public. Exactly what the power elite want, as they fill their pockets and empty ours. Like dogs in an arena they watch as voters continue to be enslaved to their evil wishes.
