Thanks to everyone who helped campaign

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the other candidates who are running in the primary election Tuesday and those who will continue to the general election in November. Running for an elected position needs to be a careful, deliberate decision that each candidate must reach in their own time and in their own way. It is a decision that is not easily made and having once made this decision it requires dedication, time and energy to proceed with a campaign. We as citizens of Albert Lea and Freeborn County are very fortunate to have a multitude of qualified candidates running for our city and county elected positions this year. We as candidates are also very fortunate to have the citizens of Albert Lea and Freeborn County who have taken a great interest in the campaigns and forums, citizens who have been very gracious in letting us knock on their doors, put signs in their yards and listen to what we have to say. So again I say thank you to the candidates and thank you to all the citizens of our city and county who will get out there and vote in a very important primary election Sept. 9.
