Vikings volleyball serves itself to victory against Riceville

The Northwood-Kensett volleyball team defeated Riceville 3-0 Thursday night in Northwood.

The Vikings won 25-23, 25-14, 25-15 against the Wildcats.

Northwood-Kensett had a strong night serving with Courtney Meyer leading the effort with a 18-for-20 night serving. Meyer added seven serving aces, three blocks, five kills and nine digs.

Kayla Eliertson went 10-for-10 serving and added seven assists. Kjirsty Davidson went 9-for-9 serving and had seven digs.

Kate Hartman had nine digs, four kills and three blocks for the Vikings and Andrea Foley added six assists.
