‘Extreme Makeover’ committee no longer taking applications from unskilled volunteers

Published Saturday, September 20, 2008

Due to the overwhelming response from all the volunteers in Freeborn County and beyond, the local “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” committee is no longer taking unskilled volunteer applications. The volunteer committee is going through all applications and will be contacting volunteers needed this week.

If you are not chosen or have not had a chance to sign up as a volunteer please remember to watch in the paper, on the radio and on television for announcements for people needed to cheer on and support all the volunteers and people on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

Skilled volunteers are still needed, so go to: www.albertleatribune.com/larsoncontractingextreme and sign up.

People are also reminded of the pep rally at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Crossroads Evangelical Free Church, 3402 Hoeger Lane, Albert Lea.
