Knights cruise over Lake Crystal

The Alden-Conger volleyball team inched its way closer to a .500 record with a 3-0 win Tuesday against Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial in Lake Crystal.

The Knights (6-8-3) defeated Lake Crystal 25-17, 25-18, 25-11 by getting some big hits from a variety of players.

Krista Mathiason led Alden-Conger with 10 kills. Dani Zabrocki had seven kills and Nadean Krueger registered seven. Miller also had 26 assists.

“I think the key tonight is that we came out on top and kind of stayed on top the entire time,” Knights head coach Melissa Wasmoen said.

Alden-Conger faces St. Clair Thursday.
