Area softball and baseball games postponed

The baseball and softball seasons haven’t even started yet, but already games have been postponed.

The Albert Lea baseball and softball teams had their Thursday contests against Mankato West postponed until April 28 and both will be doubleheaders now.

New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva had its Thursday baseball and softball games postponed as well as United South Central.

The Panthers will make up their games against Mankato Loyola May 14 while there has not been a makeup date scheduled for USC yet. The Rebels were to play Medford in the season opener.
