Knight boys outlast LeRoy-Ostrander

The depth of Alden-Conger’s boys’ basketball team was too much for LeRoy-Ostrander to handle Monday as the Knights rallied from a two-point halftime deficit to defeat the Cardinals 67-53 at the Grand Meadow Tournament.

Travis Marth returned to form with a game-high 22 points while Spencer Niebuhr continued to dominate in the post for Alden-Conger, turning a 19-point, five-rebound performance. Tyler Adix added a double-double for the Knights (2-3) as they ended a three-game losing streak.

Alden-Conger will play Grand Meadow Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
